Dr Samantha Bowen, N.D
Dr. Sam Bowen is a licensed naturopathic doctor serving the Vancouver area. She received a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion with Honours from Dalhousie University and continued on to complete four years of academic and clinical training at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. She also completed the Holistic Nutrition Certificate Program at the Pacific Rim College.
Dr. Bowen’s approach to medicine is to provide evidence-based care that is personalized to meet the health needs of each patient. Through a comprehensive health history, physical exam assessments, and diagnostic lab testing, she strives to determine the underlying cause of disease in order to develop a holistic treatment plan. She believes in creating a safe
environment where patients feel supported and empowered to achieve their health goals.
Dr. Bowen offers a general practice that aims to support a wide range of health concerns such as mental health, fertility, immune support, digestive health, energy management, and many more. She provides a variety of treatment options such as botanical medicine, acupuncture, dietary counseling, nutraceuticals, injections, and IV therapy. Ila Casselman, M.Ost.Med

Ila Casselman is an Osteopathic Practitioner and founder of Thuja Wellness.
Ila completed her Master's Degree in Osteopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University in 2012. She put herself through university by working as a massage therapist at the prestigious Gaia Retreat and Day Spa owned by Olivia Newton-John.
After Ila graduated she practiced Osteopathy for 3 years at Osteopath Central Australia where she developed her skills as a practitioner and business person.
In 2015, Ila moved to Vancouver. November 2015, she completed a Doula course and discovered her passion for birth and Unexplained Infertility. Ila now dedicates herself to helping couples become pregnant naturally while educating & empowering women about their bodies.
July 2016, Ila started practicing Osteopathy at Qi Integrated Health where she grew her practice in record time. Qi was a great place to work and Ila found her time there extremely valuable. She worked there for 3 years until she was able to open her own clinic.

Kelsey Bru, R.Ac
Kelsey was first drawn to Traditional Chinese Medicine’s holistic approach to healing the mind and the body as one entity and to treat the cause of the disease rather than the symptoms. It is her passion to help others aim for optimal health and to educate her patients so they can ultimately be in charge of their health and wellness. She has a gentle approach and practices a more traditional style of Chinese Medicine using therapies such as acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, facial rejuvenation, and Gua Sha.
She is a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture of British Columbia (CTCMA of BC) and holds a Doctorate of Chinese Medicine. Additionally, she is a member of Acupuncturists Without Borders and volunteers her time in countries with a need for alternative medicine.
Kelsey has practiced in Taiwan at the Tzu Chi Buddhist Hospital where she was exposed to a wide variety of ailments such as acute and chronic pain, digestive problems, shingles, post-stroke, scoliosis, migraines and headaches, and mental imbalances such as depression, anxiety, and insomnia. Her passion lies within women’s health and gynecological issues but treats a wide array of ailments.
From the prairies originally she loves her west coast lifestyle and in her downtime you can find her at the beach with her SUP, playing recreational sports, hiking, skiing, and snowboarding, spending time with friends or enjoying the outdoors.

Mareike Buthmann is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and owner of Empowerment Through Nutrition. For more than 5 years, she has been helping individuals and families with nutritional planning and meal preparation in the Vancouver Area. Mareike loves to teach her clients the importance of eating whole foods and balancing their diet for their optimal health.
Today, she would like to be that person, reminding you that your body has the power to heal itself with the right support.
In her practice, Mareike has been focusing on the connection between diet and female hormonal health. Kaitlin Newman, B.App.Sc, M.Ost.
Kaitlin is an Australian Osteopathic Practitioner who offers holistic treatment and education for those suffering from pain and impairment. Her goal is to restore function in order to help people get back to doing the things they love. She graduated with a Masters of Osteopathy from Victoria University, Australia in 2014.
Kaitlin has a special interest in women’s health and offering an integrative and collaborative approach to healthcare. Her experience has included working in private practice as well as a hospital setting. She has worked with a wide variety of people and conditions from children to the elderly. She particularly enjoys working with women on their journey from preconception, throughout pregnancy and beyond.
She has a gentle structural approach to her treatment. She takes the time to hear her patient’s story and work with them to devise a treatment plan. Pleasure is taken in empowering others to take control of their own health as a practitioner’s role is to facilitate their journey.!
Loren Thompson, RPC-C

Loren has been operating in private practice for the past 2 years and brings an integrative counselling approach. Loren uses models such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness CBT, Gestalt Therapy and Integrative Body Psychotherapy (IBP) and is registered through the Canadian Professional Counselling Association (CPCA). Loren brings a passion to help individuals, couples and families heal and thrive. Loren started counselling in her teens as a city youth counsellor in her home town of Rotorua, New Zealand and moved to Vancouver in 2018. Loren has travelled extensively and brings a multi-cultural collection of skills, knowledge and expertise. From her own personal journey through anxiety & depression Loren knows first hand what it is like to struggle and receive help. She offers a warm, welcoming, open & compassionate space. Her single goal to provide the environment conducive for healing, wholeness & greater self-awareness. Loren specializes in supporting women through pregnancy. Her mission is to help women have as many positive experiences through pregnancy, birth and into parenthood as possible. Susan Polano is the owner of Oceana Massage in Cross Town Vancouver. She is a certified and gifted body-worker who practices holistic massage. She has been practising in the health and wellness industry for over 11 years in Massage, Prenatal Care, Sports Massage, Reflexology, Lymphatic Drainage, and Aromatherapy. Susan is passionate about alternative health and the healing arts. She believes that the benefits of natural healing work alongside traditional scientific approaches. Drawing from her expertise in several modalities, Thermotherapy, Aromatherapy, Joint Release Movements, Shiatsu and Swedish Massage, Susan provides an intuitive, comforting and customized treatment with each massage. Prenatal visits with Meena are focused on how birth is a normal, physiological process. The goal is to provide accurate information so women can feel inspired to give birth without fear. The importance of informed consent is also covered as well as how to get a great start on breastfeeding.
